About this film:
At GrowYourAgency.com, we have a simple mission statement: to reform the education system.
On a daily basis, this means offering highly-effective, accessible education to as many people as we can.
But every year, we also donate a percentage of our company profits to support our ‘full circle’ approach: to build schools in developing countries.
In December 2019, Iman Gadzhi and members of the GrowYourAgency.com team traveled to Nepal to visit two new schools being built with donations to Pahar Trust, a charitable organization that builds schools in remote communities in the country.
Iman and the team were able to see first-hand the effect that building safe, modern schools in these communities can have, and meet the students who will be attending the newly-built schools, and the incredible members of the communities surrounding them.

The Pahar Trust
In early 2019, we began talks with the Pahar Trust, a charity operating primarily in the mid-western foothills and far-east of Nepal.
The organization was founded by two former Queen's Gurkha Engineers, Tom Langridge MBE and Chandra Bahadur Gurung.
Since the construction of their first school in 1991, the charity has gone on to help over 40,000 students, providing 656 classrooms and building or renovating over 152 schools.
One of the most exceptional elements of the charity’s work is their attention to detail and focus on sustainability: their schools are constructed to be resistant to earthquakes, and their projects require input and commitment from the areas in which they are built.

The Schools
In December 2019, we visited two schools funded by donations from GrowYourAgency.com:
Panchkoshi Secondary School
The current Panchkoshi Secondary School provides education to 315 students from pre-school to 17-years-old.
Whilst the school is well-attended and receives funding for 18 teachers from the government, many of the facilities are in a state of disrepair and require improvement, replacement and strengthening against the impact of earthquakes.
Our project with the Pahar Trust will involve demolition of an existing single-storey 4-room building and replacing it with a new, 2-storey, 6-room building proving a spacious and safe learning environment for the students.
Janaprem Secondary School
The Janaprem Secondary School is located in a remote village in Bhuskat, in the Baglung District.
The school buildings were left badly-damaged after the 2015 earthquake.
This project will see the existing building being replaced with a two-story, eight-room, earthquake-resistant school.
